Just got a text from my new “friend” Sam.

Stop the electronic stuff--- Sam--- stand in the ditch at Belle and Detroit----are you responsible for this multi million dollar ditch?

He's shown up twice in my Instagram feed. I don't know what he said, because I kept the sound muted, and before he finished, I was already clicking for Instagram to 'hide' the ad. When asked 'why', I clicked on 'I found it Offensive'.

(I am not on Insta to get political posts of any kind. I was offended, to see him grinning away whilst sitting on a chair on a porch next to a senior citizen.)

His many, many mailers have polluted my mailbox, and now Insta. And, Bridget's phone.

Sam....enough already! Everyone knows you're running for Mayor. STOP pounding us on the head!!!

He should stand proudly in the ditch. It's his biggest accomplishment.

Don't close off the communication channels. It's best to know what they are up to. Like little kids, you worry when they are quiet.

And a question. What was the source of the cell phone number list? Were the numbers properly and legally obtained?

What is really funny is that, as of 6:53 am this morning, there are twice as many views of this thread than on O'Leary's silly you tube video.

Only 122 views on his video--and I watched it three times. I've had move views on my worst posts on this forum.

Frank Lutz could use this as an example of wasted campaign dollars.

It is another example of O'Leary's feckless and reckless spending habits and fiscal idiocy.

Got the text last night. My reply:

"Well, that seals it for me... I'll be voting for the candidate that DOESN'T send me unsolicited text messages."

Which got no response, no apology, no acknowledgement whatsoever... which just adds ANOTHER reason not to vote for him: Why would I vote for a representative that does not listen to me, is not concerned with my issues, and does not, at the very least, acknowledge my existence outside of the voting booth?
