This wouldn't matter except Mayoral Candidate and Council President likes to brag that he is an official there.

Seems that Bratenhal refuses sunshine as well.

Here is the Ohio Supreme Court Judicial Opinion
They took a page out of the Lakewood handbook...why bother complying with the law when it's an inconvenience...

This mayor could have been following the advice of Sam O'Leary because Mr. O'Leary claims in his campaign falsehoods that he "Advises Mayors and City Councils on best practices." The law firm that Mr. O'Leary works for works for Bratenahl. Advice like that which O'Leary claims he doles out likely cost the village $346,000.

Unfortunately for Candidate O'Leary, the law firm that employs him is, in this instance, on the wrong-side of basic open government issues under Ohio law.

(Checking my watch) Mr. Kindt-- give him a call in 30 minutes and ask for an explanation

What bad luck!
Having to work for
two municipalities that can't manage to comply with Ohio open meeting laws or Ohio public records laws.
Darn.
Those pesky laws.
