Today, the official spokesperson for Cuyahoga County publicly announced that she had formed a "Good Government PAC" to facilitate the "clean-up" of what many national new sources have described as one of the most corrupt counties in the United States.

Good luck, Ms. Madigan...It's a massive task and you're just the gal to do it!

Sorry, I'm still laughing at Ms. Madigan's attempt to use her name and "Good Government" on the same day in the same place!

She’s Cuyahoga County’s own Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Shes busy defending the County and Budish over the jail fiasco and lawsuit and the FBI corruption investigation of Budish and the county IT Department shenanigans.

How did finds time to now head up a PAC! Oh my!

... and isn't this the PAC that released the survey? All seems very fishy/deceitful/faux Fitz inspired shenanigans. As soon as you think the bottom of the pit has been reached, they dig lower. So sad.

They must be worried and perhaps they should be.

The last council election didn’t go their way, AT ALL.

But they have opportunity here and they’ll resort to tried and true trickery to achieve their goals.

But the irony of Mary Louise Madigan heading a “Good Government” group IS hysterically funny. As she faces reporters denying there is any corruption at the jail, or that there is corruption and secret deals in the county IT department, she becomes the defender of government corruption at its finest.

No better example of what is wrong with Lakewood. --Another sleazoid local PAC.

Rather than tiresome meddling and covert fundraising for Sam O'Leary, the best thing that Ms. Madigan can do for her "neighbors" and for "good government" is to perform her designated duties as a Cuyahoga County employee in an honest and ethical manner. That is all that we expect as county taxpayers.

Finally, let's ask ourselves why we even permit county employees to engage in Political-Action-Committee formation.

One more clue that reminds government employees and government officials that Ethics-in-Government is Job One.

Our individual federal tax burdens might be slightly less if Special Agents and Marshals of the United States Department of Justice weren't always spending so much of their time investigating potential criminal activity at Ms. Madigan's employer.

My first reaction was, they got the band back together again. Let's hope there are no encores.

Ms. Conant, thank you for posting this!

....Can't let new candidates interfere with the single-minded goal of sacrificing Lakewood to the whims of the civic "leadership" and the developers.

If Mr. Kelly, Mr. Carson, and Ms. Madigan have a Master Plan for the future of Lakewood, I encourage them to publish it in their fake newspaper, so we know the game plan.
