The new Healthy Lakewood Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) public charity, was created pursuant to the closing of Lakewood Hospital. The mission of Healthy Lakewood Foundation is to advance programs, policies, and practices that inspire a Lakewood community in which health and wellness are reflected in all aspects of life. The vision is a place where all people achieve their fullest health potential.

The HLF Board seeks to hire a temporary Executive Assistant and is accepting applications at this time.

The Executive Assistant, reporting to the Board of Directors, supports the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and provides general administrative support as needed, including basic bookkeeping, event support, and general office support.

This is a part-time temporary position (10 hours a week) with an initial six-month contract. There is potential opportunity for renewal depending upon the needs of the Foundation and Board of Directors.

The Executive Assistant will be employed on a contract basis with a competitive hourly rate commensurate with their experience. HLF does not have an office or work space at this time and so the Assistant will be expected to work from their space, using their personal computer and phone equipment to conduct business. The Assistant can create a flexible work schedule with the approval of the Executive Committee. Attendance at monthly evening Board meetings is required.

Interested candidates should submit a resume and letter of interest to the attention of Kate Ingersoll, HLF Board Secretary via email to: healthylakewoodfoundation@gmail.com. Please use this email address to request the complete job posting.

All submissions are confidential. Applications will be accepted until June 21, 2019.

This is a joke, right, Healthy Lakewood Foundation? Their mission spin is to "advance programs, policies, and practices that inspire a Lakewood community in which health and wellness are reflected in all aspects of life" and they don't have office space for a part-time "Executive Assistant" who is little more than a clerk and bookkeeper working at home. I'm sure they will find a deluded narcissist toddler with a useless degree, a liberal indoctrination and without an education in mom's basement to hire.

Now that the hospital is dead and all the doctors have moved out of Lakewood, is this another Democrat veneer spin covering up the fact that Lakewood has no real healthcare substance. Simple, convey the message you better eat and exercise if you live in Lakewood, the length of the trip to the nearest hospital can kill you.

Perhaps, is it just another influence peddling foundation like the Clintons? However, they shouldn't expect foreign countries to donating millions of dollars to influence the City of Lakewood Democrat council and mayor. It's not necessary, it takes much less, free dinners, self gain and the ability to follow the Judas goat with their ignorance will suffice.

Where can I contribute to this charity, I have nothing better to do than throw after tax dollars into the toilet?
