A whole crew of Summers sycophants trying to:

1) Say the City won, when they lost and they lost Big. The judge found they were actively hiding, destroying and ignoring court orders to turn over documents that were deemed public at the first hearing. This means they had 5 meeting they could have turned over documents with NO FINE.
It also mean City Hall wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars with an outside law firm. Look at who that firm was!

2) The residents didn't win anything. Well, City Hall was shown once again to be breaking court orders, and fined, for not allowing residents their Constitutional right to double check what they say and do. When we did get documents we immediately started to uncover 8 years of lying andd scheming to close the hospital, shovel the friend off to an ex-Mayor, and take all the foundation money saved to rebuild the hospital for their own devices and uses in a Foundation that answers to no one.

Today an ex-Law Director stopped with while walking my dog. "My God did the courts come down hard on the City of Lakewood!"

We have proven that the Summers Administration, and friends have lied, misrepresented, intimidated, and yes broke rules and laws in what has now become the worst DEBACLE in Lakewood's history.

The amazing thing, they continue to lie to this day.

Jim, the Mayors campaign of lies was highly effective. If the public was fully informed we would still have a profitable hospital, 1,500 high paying medical jobs and $90 million in cash and investments to build a brighter future.

On a side note I would like to point out that I could not find any reporting on this issue by the Plain Dealer or any other local news source. It's almost like they are afraid of the truth.

I am not worried with Lakewoodites believing the lies. It would seem that the LO has done its job, slow but sure getting the truth out despite the overtime lying of Summers sycophants. As I go around the city residents have are now aware of the lies and the bullshit, and read everything from the city with suspicion. NO ONE LIKES A GOVERNMENT THAT LIES, CHEATS, COVERS UP, AND EVEN INTIMIDATES residents who are merley seeking the truth or facts.

Of course they are not. First the PD is a shadow of what it was, which was a paper that would do anything for advertisers and friends like the Cleveland Clinic, and Mayor Summers. I spoke with every investigative Reporter in town, all came back with the same story. "Management said no go, it isn'y smart to go after the Clinic. Each time I answered, "This is not about the Clinic, it is about Goverment lying and covering up facts through 3 elections, on the most important topic to ever come up in Lakewood.

So now, they see how "the real media failed" and they feel like CCF's bitches, and they are.

The simple truth is FitzGerlad, Summers, Butler, Pae, Bullock, Madigan, Litten, worked in secret to close our largest employer, and the future of healthcare in Lakewood for the money in the Foundation, and to give errrr sell for $1.00 the most valuable property in Lakewood to the ex-Mayor and they have completely screwed the deal.

I would also say that Summers, Butler, Pae, Bullock, Litten, O'Leary, Anderson, Foran, Smith, Crampton, Strachan, Carson, and others have worked overtime lying to the residents. Or covering up and trying to intimidate residents into believing the lies. Go back and look at how many people told you, "Hurry and vote, this is great for Lakewood!" Now see where their names fall on the new foundation, or benefiting directly from the sale. Now remember their names while waiting for Carnegie to break ground. Right now earliest is 2020, that how screwed up this deal is.

LAKEWOOD YOU WERE PLAYED!

They all need to be run from Lakewood politics and civic leadership FOREVER!

i think it's appropriate to again bring up the Civil Discourse and Mutual Respect Community Forum scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) night. Yes, we need more civility in our discussions, but let's be clear about some things. The FB invite states:
"Our society was built on a foundation of civil discourse – a skill that remains vitally important to this day."
No, and yes. Civil discourse is vitally important to Lakewood in the 21st Century, but our society was based on the actions of many angry and rowdy people who were both figuratively and literally rebels. Then look at the Lincoln era. They don't call it civil discourse, they call it a Civil War.
So yes, let's be civil and mutually respectful in Lakewood, but let's not wrap ourselves in the flag and a faulty knowledge of the founders of our nation. The various factions and cliques at the time were not especially respectful of each other.
To get things done incivility and disrepect are sometimes necessary.
