City Doesn’t Know Who Owns A Pole

TV news station reporting a dangerous pole leaning over on Arthur Ave and frightening a homeowner. She calls ATT, First Energy, and the city and they all point at each other. So typical.
The news station calls the city of Lakewood, First Energy, and ATT. First Energy and ATT respond. The City if Lakewood does not. So typical.

Brilliant! Team Summers consumes the investigative team at Channel 19 with basic public works questions, thus distracting from the excavators working the hospital site.

similar thing happened to me a couple years ago. the pole out in front of my house started to lean, dangerously, out over the street. Everyone I called insisted it was someone else's problem to fix. So after a frustrating couple of days trying to get something done, I changed tactics... I called back each of the groups, and asked each of them for their names, so that when the pole falls into traffic, or perhaps onto some kids walking home from school, the affected parties will know who to name in the lawsuit...
I had two teams on site removing the pole that afternoon.

Did you know who actually removed it? That should indicate who owned it. Just curious who it was.

in the end it was a general contractor that came out, but I never really got a conclusive answer (aka - not sure who finally paid the bill), but for mine, the pole really only was there for the School Speed Limit sign, so I think the city was eventually the one one the hook even though it was originally put in by First Energy.
