The pronouns in this paragraph are not especially clear, but it seems she also is being investigated:
"Madigan did not identify those involved in the search but an FBI spokeswoman said her office is involved."

If you remember one of my earliest posts on the FBI, and Lakewood was... "The FBI and others were going to need to wait until, dust settled and deals were done and funds ending up where they were going before they would even entertain looking at this deal. Well, the dust has settled, and the clearing view looks pretty bad.

Makes sense to me. I still wonder why more Lakewood taxpayers (and council representatives) aren't enraged by this.
