Anybody here know the late Heinz Linke, cyclist and proprietor of Madison Cycle Center?

Thanks, Gary. I'm looking not for parts or general bike stories, but particular stories about that specific person, who was a cycling mentor to me when I was in middle and high school. Did you know him enough to know any of his life story? For example, could you confirm whether he competed in the 6 day races?

Good Morning Michael,

Like you apparently, I was very impressed by Mr. Linke and his kindness towards me, and indeed towards others who dropped by his shop. His enthusiasm regarding cycling was contagious. I did not, however, know very much about him personally.

Back to the bikes! :D
