Bad Accident Closes Down Franklin Between Lincoln and St. Charles

At 4:45pm a call went out for an accident on the corner of Marlowe and Franklin for a 2 car MVA. Immediately there was a call for more cars and they arrived quickly.
One car hit another car sending it off into a telephone pole, and rolling over and landing on a woman.
Police and some bystanders immediately went to work rolling the car off enough to get the woman out from under the car.
The woman was placed into an ambulance with severe life threatening injuries. Husband went along.
Franklin will be closed for some time, seek alternate routes.
Judging by the comments, and the conversations with police. It was a very bad day for Lakewood.
