I’m sure Revelations, Forbici, Tease, Dramatics, Best Cuts, Great Clips, Willow Room, Crazy Mullets, and more, all within a block or two, will be thrilled to be cannabilized yet again.
I guess the venue/site didn’t meet the requirements for a “boutique hotel?”

Your persistence is just amazing and never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks for the smile.
.
I have limited material to work with, so I do what I can.
You’re welcome!

A hair salon!
Will they have outdoor seating?

I have been looking for, with no luck, a scene from a western I recently saw that had a barber shop, that was half inside and they could roll up the one all and be outside.
Perhaps this is where we are headed.
I also noticed that "Men's Cuts" seems to have closed which means we are down one barber in that 3 block range, taking it to only 6 or 7 in that 4 block area.

Men's cuts is gone. There is a new store called Shop The Trader. It is a pop up boutique. The ladies that own it are very nice people, I did their window signage for them. Not entirely positive of how this works but they have the shop most of the time and sell clothing it appears from when I was inside. On the weekends or at various time others may come in and use it as a "Pop up Boutique" to sell their wares. Interesting concept, I hope it works out for them.
Being follically challenged, I have had no need for any kind of hair salonery in well over 12 years. However, even from my limited knowledge of coiffery, it seems to me that there are way more hair salons than needed in Lakewood. There are the same number of people needing there hair styled, if not less, than a decade ago yet we seem to have almost twice the salons.
Are people getting their hair done more often than in the past? Are people coming to Lakewood from other cities as we become the "City of Hair"? I truly am baffled by the number of new hair salons popping up around town.

The Cleveland area is an economic dead zone. You pay $15 to get your hair cut. The barber spends $15 to get his car washed. The car wash owner spends the $15 on happy hour. The bartender spends the $15 on a hair cut.
Rinse and repeat.
The locally owned salons in the area will sacrifice customers to this chain as some will want to try the newest entry. Other than that, I highly doubt the upscale Westlake, Bay, or Avon consumer will find themselves pulled to come to Lakewood to get a haircut in a chain salon.

And isn't a salon moving into the former Peet's/Caribou?
