EMS Transports, Wrong question!

When you ask the wrong question, you can never get the right answer.

So, Dave Anderson, how many EMS trips did Lakewood do in 2017 - to OTHER THAN Lakewood Hospital?

How many direct to Fairview?

How many direct to Metro?

How many to elsewhere?

Formal?

Lakewood EMS Records. Figure that was a good place to start.

I get yearly mailings from police, fire, and courts. I am not sure if they are available as pdfs.

I will work on Essi's homework assignment, though I am sure it will show many more going to Lakewood Hospital, but who knows I could be wrong.

Fire, smoke and burn victims have always gone to Metro, which is home to the Metro Burn Unit, and Level One Trauma Center.

Another interesting side fact is that Lakewood Hospital was known for their great work on Stroke victims. The real answer was Lakewood EMS was now doing much of the work before they got to Lakewood Hospital because they were trained and able to administer medicine and treatments that made recovery down steam better.

I am not comparing this to a hospital or not. I am just saying in a lot of this we have to keep facts separate from emotions. Such as I feel a city with a hospital attacks more families than one that doesn't have a hospital. One of the main reasons Lakewood Hospital existed from the earliest days. I believe 1,500 high paying jobs are better for a community than ?????

One thing I do know, is that honest, transparent accountable government is better for a community and attracts families.

Peter, as you and I have been sharing interesting side notes this week here is another, and why I love this project. Marguerite's back windows look out on David Anderson's back yard, her side windows look out on my yard. David's front windows look at my backyard, while my side windows look at ... Still this conversation is best had by the three of us and others in front of many instead of at the next block party.
