People Only Want Good Positive News - NOT!

Funny as I look back over the front page of the Lakewood Observer Deck, I cannot help but think of so many comments around this community, that the City of Lakewood and the residents only want to read and see good positive uplifting news and stories.
Bullshit
The worst stories are the most read stories, atrocities that appear on the Deck get the most reads, the most shares and the most comments.
Now I understand why City hall wants to control discussion to only good news, which we have come to realize is only good stories about them, but fry the rest. After all why would the City of Lakewood want anything critical out about them? Especially in the middle of liquidating our largest, strongest asset behind closed doors.
Which reminds me of "Look how negative the Deck is, it is not like Facebook, which is all positive and uplifting." Well we have seen Facebook become the kangaroo court with baseless, non-fact based adhominem attacks on anyone and anything the poster disagree with.
The world has turned evil and cynical, and along with it the readers.
Don't believe me, next time someone mentions how evil and negative the Deck is, ask them "Why are you so negative on the Deck?"
A dumb look and silence will follow, conversation over. Point, set and match.
This holiday season try to keep it positive, who cares if no one reads it.
