Police from all over light up Lakewood on police chase after shooting in Metro Parks.

This morning the whit Hyundai pictured below was driving through Metro Parks at a high rate of speed. Some joggers yelled for the driver to slow down. He went to the top of the hill, turned around and went back down into Metro Parks where he asked the joggers what they said, a woman said "Slow down." When the man pulled out a gun and fired 6 shots at the joggers hitting her, who was transporter to Metro Hospital.





At Sloane and the Sloane subway, he jumped out of his car, high jacking another car and took off east, stopping at Marine Towers East to grab another car at gunpoint, and took off when he got in an accident on Lake Road about a lock east of Marine Towers East. There Lakewood Police, grabbed the suspect.

At that point the police radio crackled with "do not touch the Hyundai as it was believed to be used in a shooting last night. Victim was Jared Plesec at Euclid Beach Vila Apartments, in Collinwood.

This morning a car-jacking at Marine Towers East, ends in a car crash, while the car involved in the chase was stopped on Sloane near the Sloane Subway.

William Ted Jones age 27 was arrested for car jackings, shooting and killing Jared Plesec age 20.

Not at this time, but not during the car jacking.

As I was speaking with one of the officers came a radio call, do not touch car, was believed to be the one used in a murder last night.

.

I guess the man was somewhat of a one person crime wave, judging by how the police were after him for numerous acts of vilonce and car jackings over the past couple weeks!
