No, I am not being un-politically correct, for I am not speaking of the proud decedents of the Anasazi, which of course were the ancestral origin of what we still call politically incorrectly Native Americans. Let's be honest Native Americans is still not what any of them ever referred to themselves as before Europeans came here to "enrich" their lives.

And I am not talking about the Cleveland Indians.

What I am talking about are real Indians, and a chance to find out why so many Europeans were so desperate to find a faster way to India, the food.

Once again this Thanksgiving, India Garden, will be open for those not looking for Turkey, wanting a break from traditional Thanksgiving bill-of-fare, or to discover one of the many reasons why so many love Indian culture and especially the food.

Sonny, owner of India Garden wants to let you know, you are welcome to take a short cut to India, not just on Thanksgiving but everyday of the week.

India Garden put out an amazing feast for all today. After a short wait, a table was readied, and we sat down to a feast, Tomato Soup that is amazing, two different kinds of rice (Jasmine, Biryani), three different kinds of chicken (Tandor, Marsala, and Korma), two different kinds of Spinach (Pakora, Chana Saag), Mushroom and Sweet Pea Marsala, Potato Saag, and other vegetable dishes, and for Deseret, Rice Pudding (Kheer). Jasmine Tea, 6 beers, 20 wines.

And for this special occasion, anything on the menu was up for grabs as well with Buffet Prices of $10.95 a person.

India Garden and their two other restaurants are always rated as one of the top Indian, Foreign Food, or just restaurants in the city by Cleveland Magazine, Scene, PD and others, this was an amazing treat, their buffet has become legendary, but this was truly a feast fit for a king!

While there was no overdosing on turkey tryptophan afterwards, many very full bellies I am sure produced nearly the same effect!

India Garden you truly out did yourself today it was a pleasure to be part of your celebration!

A little hint for those craving Turkey leftovers, call Woodstock BBQ, and get some of their unbelievable smoked turkey slices to go, and you will can make one of the best turkey sandwiches ever!
