What took so long? Now let's reuse the space, how about a flee market, or garage sale, one day a week, Sundays, the vendors pay in advance, you, me, anyone, $10.00 for an 8ft. table, two tables, is $20.00, you get a spot on Sunday, sell you excess stuff, 9 till 3 pm, then were done. I love garage sales, house sales, rummage, all of it. Everything is already there, concessions, check out, restrooms, parking, location, I could be the Trump of Junk, lets do this.

Jack, LOL, that is a great idea. I have a ton of stuff I'd like to pass on to be reused, made into something new, dispose of my excess, and make a few bucks and have some fun, I'd rather not have people come to my house, but a common place, yes, where I could rent tables for the day, that works for me, who do I pay? You? well, yes

It's kinda looked like a garage sale in there for about 20 years anyway!

lol, funny Todd, your right.
But seriously, a weekend flea market would work for me. A monthly table would get preference, closer up front, leave your wears over the time of your contract, instead of hauling them home every night, also, one time weekend vendors would get spaces depending on who is the first come, first served"" vendors, but further in the back, sell your excess stuff, china, toys, bric a brac, tools, doors, windows, collectables, antiques, lamps, pictures, a garage sale, big difference is, it is indoors, heated, air c, rest rooms, they could have food vendors, and held weekly. Saturday & Sunday.

Who else could use that space? Maybe demolish it and repurpose it?

Garage sales, house sales, those are cautious endeavors, I don't think I want strangers coming to my home. But a central space, in a perfect location, what could be better? What do you think?

Jackie, your opinions, are worth considering's, but in this day, and if you look at that location, which is dprime, maybe it could be used as you suggest, a flea market, but just until an agreement for redevelopment is made. Multiple shops, from the ground up, Like the "Warren Village", Kamm's Plaza?

Marc's would be a good choice, close the ugly dirty unattractive crowded store on W 140th and Lorain Road. But they have the one at Kamm's corner. ?????

Jack, that exact location is at W 136th and Lorain, how can you not pinpoint the location? you used to live in the area. old age? Miller's?

That is the ugliest, dirtiest location they have, that I know of, I don't feel like I'm having fun when going there, I feel sub-human, sensitive of my safety, shopping for the deal of the week.

They should move into the "soon to be vacant, K MART, at W 150th & Lorain, it has everything, location, major intersection, parking, hugh curb appeal, or a flea market, haven't heard any other options.
