Mayor Summers False Satements On Skindell vs Madigan

Last week Mayor Summers on media he can control issued a couple statements about the Ohio Supreme Court's decision to not take up in this session, the lawsuit of Skindell vs Madigan. He stated that the courts have affirmed the hospital deal and meetings were legal and above board. THEY DID NOT, not even close.
What they did is say, they were not taking it up for consideration at that time. PERIOD.
2 of the Ohio Supreme Courts Justices did write they felt it did deserve its day in court.
Like the US Supreme Court, they get hundreds if not thousands of requests to look at court cases, with that load, they cannot possible look at every court case.
What the Ohio Supreme Court did hear, and agree on, was that the City of Lakewood broke numerous Sunshine Laws, as pointed out in the Essi Affidavit, which was accepted as evidence, though the case did not go forward with a full hearing.
What bothers me, is right before an election, the Mayor sees it is so necessary to continue the lies and the coverups of of this current administration.
Stay tuned, much more eye opening documents coming, as Essi's two year lawsuit in the right of all residents to see the public documents and decide for themselves come to light and are published. Will they be ready for this election, NO, as city hall fought again and again every decision from the court that we have a right to see them, so that yet one more election cycle goes by without, all of us knowing the truth.
To that fact how dare incumbents mention transparency and accountability in any of their literature, when they have been part of the stonewalling of residents and voters rights to know the truth when they vote.
Bring sunshine back to Lakewood. Bring accountability back to Lakewood. It is now time to heal the city and move on, but only after all facts get placed on the table.
