Incumbents Push for the "Young Voter"

Post by Bridget Conant »

The incumbent council members running for reelection had an event last night geared toward the "young voter." They added it was for the "under 35 crowd."

It was on Facebook as "Cocktails with Council." They love alcohol in Lakewood, don't they?

Anyone attend? I'm obviously outside that age restriction (is that legal, BTW?)

Bullock heading a Cocktail with Council!!!

It would seem they have found out, their only hope was to get away from critical thought of people over 35, that now realize, they were lied to and played. Best to hit under 35 with Bike sharrows and craft beer.

Just say no to incumbents, when voting next month. They never trusted us with the truth and facts, why should we trust them again?

Cocktails with council? I am shocked that anything related to alcohol would not involve the mayor. :D

I haven't heard of any major car accidents last night. Hopefully that means one of the incumbents learned his lesson from last time he chose to get behind the wheel while impaired.

" Cocktails with Council"'
Council Hipsters, shaken not stirred. Way cool.
Without a cause, without a conscience, without a moral compass.
Under 35 over 35 here's the reality...
Bullock. Marx. Nowlin.
They Hid. They Lied. They Deceived.
Kick them to the curb.
They can share a bottle there.

I guess it is not enough for the incumbents to victimize the vulnerable our elderly and the underserved---they have to buy alcohol with their Dark Money Insider donations to lie to con the so-called Lakewood millennials into their pipe dreams of economic development and the futuristic healthcare. Crooked Bullock is very comfortable in his as the smiling victimizer with successive vodkas in his hand--spewing forth his empty magical thinking--until he's _____faced an orders the Uber. Look for th $4 Uber on his campaign expense report.

The old-timers of Lakewood politics court young voters but keep young residents and candidates out.

I was out walking yesterday, as a Lakewoodite I have come to know was walking out of Booth's Midtown Tavern...
