Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo - 1 Hour Trips
Posted: Mon Aug 28, 2017 9:55 am
For the past couple years I have been taking one hour trips to the zoo. I stop going or coming from meetings grab a coffee or lunch, and sit with one animal for an hour and observe.
I will be posting some of the images from those trips to this thread. If you are not a member of the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo, you should consider joining. WE are destroying habitats of so many beautiful and special breeds it is alarming. And while it is somewhat sad seeing them in zoos, some of the animals in the zoo, represent species with under 100 or 200 left in the wild! Where the concept of Zoos were original like that of a circus. Since 60s, Zoos have been at the forefront of breeding, and conservation efforts, while chronicling was is, and what was.

The Black Bear looking good.

Grizzly 1 seems agitated.

Grizzly 2 minding its own business.

Grizzly 1 cruises over...

It's on!

OK that was enough of that.

Come back again, I'll kick your ass again!

Don't I look cute and cuddly?

not really!

I always stop by Tiger Passage!

With new tiger "Hector" relaxing on the bridge.
