Today Joshua Casper was found not guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide in the death of State Trooper Officer Kenneth Velez.

Joshua Gasper, age 37, was the driver of the car that hit and killed Ohio State Trooper Kenneth Velez, September 14, 2016 on (-90.

Mr. Casper, was found to have a prescribed amount of methadone in his system. A doctor testified that people can drive on methadone, other people testified, he just never bothered to slow down.

A witness had said, he was following the car in front to closely and ran onto the berm, hitting and killing the officer.
