The Observation Deck

I had one a couple weeks ago, I put the hard shell in the garden, compost, it will take years for the shells to digest into the soil. All the toys I have for jake, he finds the coconut shell, and he runs with it. it is his favorite chew toy. I was thinking, what if it was made into mulch? it would last for years, if the dogs didn't take it home. Sunday I'm smoking ribs and a brisket, I'm going to add the coconut shells to the wood & coals, I will let you know how it turned out.
