I'm not much of a photographer, but I have about 10 Goldfinches taking turns at my finch-feeder (on the left).
Notice the fancy orange glass oriole feeder filled with grape jelly (on the right). We got that at Gale's Garden Center and it holds a lot more jelly than the plastic feeders.

I may have jumped the gun by a week or 2 on the orioles with my earlier post---I have not seen one yet, but then again, I've been pretty occupied in the woods with the opening of Gobbler season. The orioles should be here pretty soon.

Has anybody else seen any orioles in Lakewood yet?

I thought I saw one slumming on Train Ave. yesterday. It was hanging out with a bunch of small birds, but it stood out because of the orange on its back.
