Here's a link to my photo gallery from yesterday's "March for Science" in downtown Cleveland. Around 10,000 people attended from all over the NEO.
Of course, Lakewood was well represented (see the photos for details)
These pictures feature the pre-march festivities, which included kid's activities and speakers from the local science community.
Lots of fun and interesting signs, costumes, and people. And some dogs, too.
35 images in all....check them out! A few samples are below.
VIEWER DISCRETION WARNING: If you are among the dwindling number of Trump supporters, you may not like some of the images. :D

Beeker was among the many scientists in attendance. When asked the whereabouts of Dr. Honeydew, his only response was "MEEP!"

These guys were there to prevent any paranormal activity.

Instead of signs or costumes, some chose to wear hats. Lakewoodite Michele Miner Pomerantz showed off the "Mother Earth" look.

I was very glad to be part of this. (Representing as a proud grad of Iowa State University of Science and Technology!) Here's a few more photos.

I also loved seeing all the young people present and having a good time.

This Einstein cosplayer had a great time—and some pretty impressive dance moves.

Cleveland hearts science, as does our own little corner of the planet…

Thanks and congratulations to everyone who put this event together.
