City Worker Contract Stuck Over Uniforms?

It seems a contract that is all but ready for approval has been stuck over uniforms.

The City wants employees to buy their own uniforms, and then get them embroidered with the City Logo.

Besides the additional expense of buying uniforms, there is the expense of embroidery. It is rumored only one shop in town has the "tape."

Really, this City on the verge of such a great deal with millions and millions to spend on nearly anything, stiffs our workers?

How will this affect new employees?

.

Taking a cue from the Cleveland Clinic?

They used to provide scrubs to employees. No longer. Workers who wear scrubs purchase them with their own funds.

Oh, and they make employees on main campus pay for parking.

Another small sign of the city's slow, painful demise.
It's a shame what's happened to this town.

Jim,
What is the name of the "only" shop in town that can do this service?
That could be the answer.
