Public Record: F Troop Bullock and Carson's "Calvary" Fight Against Sunshine Laws

"Here Comes the Calvary" Jay Carson wrote to Tom Bullock at 2:49 PM on the afternoon of December 21, 2015-- the same time of the Skindell v Madigan hearing where O'Leary and Butler combined to mislead the Court.

Carson was sending Bullock an Amicus Brief that Carson was submitting on behalf of Build Lakewood and the "Man" fighting a Sunshine Laws.

Was the "Calvary" Carson another "new and exciting" way to destroy the Little Guy and behalf of the Man?

Something I wondered about and this post reminded me.

There is a podcast program called "The Politics Guys" that features a former BW grad and college prof named Mike Baranowski, and an attorney named Jay Carson, who discuss politics from a Democratic liberal (Baranski), and a right wing Republican (Carson) perspective.

According to the site, this Jay Carson describes himself as
Jay is an attorney specializing in commercial litigation - finding new and exciting ways to destroy The Little Guy on behalf of The Man.
Wow!

http://politicsguys.com

One of the podcasts discussed health care in the U.S. :
Jay and Ken start off with an in-depth policy discussion of the American Health Care Act, the Republican legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare. They drill down into the fundamentals of how health insurance works – or doesn’t work – with Jay expressing far more confidence in a ‘free market’ solution than Ken.
Of course, we all know what "free market" health care means.

I sure hope this isn't the same Jay Carson from Lakewood, a corporate litigation attorney at Wegman, Hessler, and Vandenburg, that supported the Cleveland Clinic "deal," and the same Jay Carson that sits on the board of North Coast Health Care? Or is it?

Anyone know about this?

I would not be surprised. There's a tendency with many right wing republicans to assume charity will be there to mitigate the fallout from their draconian policies. Also, at the one and only fundraiser I attended for North Coast Health Ministry, in conversation with some of the attendees I suggested it was a charity that would prefer to be obsolete... being made unnecessary by the presence of a robust universal health care system. I got the impression that comment was not appreciated and was brushed off with comments such as that will never happen, etc. This was quite a while ago but I felt less inclined to support the charity. In any other developed country, a charity such as North Coast Health would not need to exist.

Exactly what does North Coast Health DO, anyway? They're not a hospital. They're not a clinic. They don't seem to actually provide any services to anyone. I don't get it ....

Is it merely coincidence that Michael Baranowski attended Baldwin Wallace and graduated in 1992, as did Jay R Carson, the commercial litigation attorney from Wegman, Hessler and Build Lakewood leader?

I think not!

Looks like the Republican Trump supporter on the Politics Guys may be Lakewood's own Jay R Carson!

More evidence that the right wing Trump supporter podcaster of The Politics Guys is Jay R Carson of Lakewood.

Comments on podcasts are responded to by the hosts, Mike Baranowski or Jay Carson.

Here is Jay responding to a comment. Note that he uses the name "Jay R Carson." Yet another clue that this Trump supporter is, indeed, Lakewood attorney Jay R Carson?

If indeed it is the same Jay Carson, let's keep in mind this description from earlier in the thread:
"Jay is an attorney specializing in commercial litigation - finding new and exciting ways to destroy The Little Guy on behalf of The Man."

That also could describe the building inspector's actions through the years. Anybody remember what he did to the woman who was putting out a jobs email at the height of the recession?

Here is more information that will prove that the right wing podcaster Jay Carson of the Politics Guys is Jay R Carson, a commercial litigation attorney with Wegman, Hessler, and Vandenburg. You know, the guy who describes himself as
Jay is an attorney specializing in commercial litigation - finding new and exciting ways to destroy The Little Guy on behalf of The Man.
Here is a video of a Lakewood City Council meeting where Mr Carson speaks at length:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N0TzGVPINkU

Compare this to this podcast, where Carson is introduced as a Cleveland attorney:

Me thinks there is no doubt that one of The Politics Guys is Jay R Carson, Build Lakewood and Summers supporter.

This is the gentleman I would watch frequently speak during city council meetings in utter disbelief that he could support closing our hospital. It was like the twilight zone. On what planet would it be great to close the most profitable economic engine in your community? ...especially when you know a genuine RFP was never placed.

T Peppard

Why are you surprised?

Jay Carson, the man who enthusiastically supported closing Lakewood Hospital, is a right wing Republican who believes that the "free market" is the best way to provide health care. He discussed it in a recent podcast on his program, The Politics Guys.

He also describes himself as a man who enjoys "finding new and exciting ways to destroy The Little Guy on behalf of The Man."

So his support of "The Man," the Cleveland Clinic, in obtaining what they want in the health care market, in contrast to sticking up for the residents, The Little Guys," aligns with his stated belief system.

Fortunately, lots more people are seeing and reading this thread thanks to the Twittering Tweeter who several times daily tweets a link to this thread.

I'm sure Jay Carson appreciates his "friend" publicizing this thread as Jay himself carefully avoids linking himself to his own podcast.

I notice that Little Ricky loves to pick on women, but doesn't mention me.
He also blocks me from his Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Why is he afraid of me?
