NEEDED: Cross walks on Madison

I have posted many times before, with all the restaurants and clubs along Madison Ave. we badly need crosswalks, with the Richard Hillard parking lot, just across the street from Barrio's, pedestrians are running for their lives, trying to cross the street, running and dodging traffic, will it take a death to make this a reality?

Seriously, make this a walkable friendly neighborhood, not a dodge um traffic accident waiting to happen hot spot, install cross walks, with flashing lights if needed. what are we waiting for?

There was an incident this evening at Barrio's, someone was taken away by Ambulance, I hope they are ok, and will recover.

Don't we want a slower pace? grant time for commuters to see the businesses that adorn Madison Avenue? The clubs, restaurants, bars, the specialty spots,? I do, I want to lower the speed of traffic, to a maximum of 25 mph max. slow down, what is the hurry? death? the freeway is for fast driving, and that's not safe either, : slow down on Madison and lets have lighted crosswalks at designated intersection. I'll donate, wtf.
