?Around 9:30pm 11.13.2016, I got a call from one of Lakewood's great photographers Mary Breiner texted me about "Are you taking photos of the 'Super Moon?'" My answer was "No, I imagine ever other photographer in Cleveland will be taking the photo." As I hung up the phone, Deb said, "Oh Let's go check it out." so off we went.
I headed down to the I-90 median, and realized that I was too far south. So at West 44th we headed North, towards Edgewater Park. By the time I was there, the Pier was packed with photographers. Mary headed there and sent me a photo.

This is just the photographers to the left of Mary on the Pier. (photo by Mary Breiner)
So we headed to the "Cleveland" sign, OMG!

Hundreds of photographers for the almost Super Moon. Just nuts, head back to Lakewood, get out the big lens.

The almost Super Moon rises between the buildings.

Only 10% closer, but 20% brighter.
Get ready tonight is the real thing.

Absolutely gorgeous shots!
Tonight's super moon was a bit cloudy but still dramatic.

Jim those are just stunning pictures. There are 2 of them that would make awesome prints to hang up.

Tonight's super moon was a bit cloudy but still dramatic.

Lakewood seen from Wendy Park. Great sunset, though to cloudy for the "Super Moon."
Cameron, others, last night and morning of the "Super Moon."

AS the "Super Moon" looked from Lakewood early on. But by 1am...
And if you used a wide angle lens or two...

"Super Moon's" super halo.

This morning, it looked more like this.
That is it until the next "Super Moon" in about 3 months, but slightly smaller.

Last night's way less than Super Moon...
Actually still appears larger than a regular moon, but no one cares anymore.

now just a really big red 3/4 moon...
When it came up tonight it was as red as anytime I have ever seen it.
By the time it got over Cleveland it was getting less and less red.
