Anybody seen any "For 64" promotions?

I voted by mail a week or two ago, so I've stopped receiving campaign lit. I still see them active on FB, but not much else in the last couple of weeks, and not that much total compared to huge campaign last year. Is there something else out there? If not, what does it mean?

Mailwise, we got more Against 64 mailings and that's what came to the house, not just to me.

Signage wise, it's interesting to me. I see far more Against 64 signs on most side streets. As you go through Lake/Clifton Park areas, I see more For 64. It shows the divide between the "rank and file" resident and taxpayers vs the more well connected and comfortable crowd, IMO. But that was also evident in the voting last time - the higher income areas voted for Summers and the deal.

I think they made a big mistake not allowing the referendum to get on the last ballot, or holding a special election. It would have limited the turnout. As it stands now, a hotly contested Presidential election will bring out lots more voters and I don't think they will be "deal" supporters. I found it very curious then, and still do.

The amount of lit has been less this year, but don't be deceived.

Team Summers is very active via the Internet, especially Facebook.
Jen Pae and the Team are fully committed to carry out the Clinic's dirty work.

There are more for 64 signs in the wealthy areas, unsurprisingly. Still, I was surprised at the lack of signs in Clifton Park specifically, there were quite a few, but you have to note that there are a couple of LHA people and Ryan Nowlin that live there. I would concur that it backfired putting the issue on the last ballot. More info has come out and City Hall continues to lie and cover up lie after lie. It gets hard to keep track of what lie you told when, etc. Also, more people have been able to experience, first-hand, the subpar care being administered at the so-called ER and the longer wait times and ambulance times.

The question is: why do those that live north of the William-Sonoma Line tend to strongly support Summers?

- Just like most businesses around town, they rarely get fined for garbage violations (probably on orders of Michael P. Summers)

- Their streets are first to be plowed, even when the main streets have yet to be done. If I recall, Kenneth gets done first. From what I have heard, some of the mayor's friends in the Clifton Lagoons call and raise Cain if their private lagoon road isn't plowed first, even though it's private.

- They haven't experienced crime, drug overdoses, domestic violence, and quality of life issues like the rest of Lakewood has. Hint to Summers & Co.: it will reach your neighborhood. It is coming. It's not a matter of if but when.

- Many of the streets are supposedly private, but are still maintained by City Hall using taxpayer dollars. Private streets even get their garbage picked up. Some of the mayor's friends that live on these streets get REALLY mad if their garbage is missed (hint: it probably wasn't missed, but put out late).

This is probably why there are more for 64 signs up north. If you didn't have to deal with crime, drugs, domestic violence, garbage laying around everywhere, graffiti, and other quality of life issues, you might think the mayor is great too. If your every wish was Summers & Co's. command, you would probably vote his way too.
