It is well known at City Hall that Ed Fitzgerald and Mike Summers have had numerous session spending many hours at a time hold up in Summers City Hall office.

Word is that the Burgess Boys are not part of these meetings.

It is doubtful that it is about the fake newspaper, since for Great Lakes Strategies (incorporated by Butler) is a for profit Ohio LLC fake newspaper.
(Unless only for profit real newspapers have been banned by Angry Mike.)

SO what "BIG THINKING" are these two failures concocting now?

Real Estate Development?

Is our City Hall for sale to private profiteers?

Is there a Chicago connection involved?

You may be right about the real estate. There are a lot of buildings popping up for sale now in Lakewood. Maybe they are trying to get all their "sales" taken care of while they still can. I would not be surprised to see the Bin and the strip stores next to it torn down and more condos put in. Maybe by Liberty Development! Zaremba?

I believe that one of the easiest ways to launder money is through real estate! Let's hope these properties are sold legally and not allegedly stolen by Summers and Extended Company.

In my opinion they are both alleged crooks who are destroying this city. Hey Ed, where is the County money that has allegedly been missing since you left County Office? Don't expect an answer!

Actually, it would be "Fast Eddie"...in honor of legendary former Chicago Alderman Ed Vrdolyak.
Vrdolyak was a master of back room deals, party switching (was head of Cook County Dems, then ran for Chicago Mayor in the Solidarity Party, then ran as a Republican countywide).

After many years of chicanery, was finally convicted and sent to prison in 2010.

Mayor Ed FitzGerald, wanted a new City Hall, new Jail and a County Jail in Lakewood. One of my favorite conversations with him, "Jim I can get the cream of the crop county criminals in our jail. The City will make money."

Mayor Summers has mentioned thinking of a new City Hall publicly, many times.

One could argue, the building they are in is dated. I thought that is where the Jacobs money would have gone.

I have no idea what they are talking about, but openly they have thought of that. And maybe if they have learned anything, they will be open about what is going on.

Yes! Because an alleged surefire way to upscale your neighborhood is to build the Ed Fitzgerald County Jail in Lakewood and overwhelm the surrounding area with bail bondsmen, sole-practitioner criminal lawyers, payday loan shops, etc. And for Ms. Allen, more burner cell phone shops.
