Butler, Summers and Council, perhaps you would like to comment here on the Deck to let your tax paying constituents know how you are spending your alleged stolen money that you took from ALL of us!

Who took the $33 million in the Lakewood Hospital Foundation? It disappeared. The whole Foundation is gone. What did LHF Chair Haber do with it? Did he give it to the Cleveland Foundation? Or did he give it to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation?

Who took the $50 million of Lakewood Hospital Association investments? Must be CCF. This money had been invested in the LTIP (Long Term Investment Pool) inside Cleveland Clinic. So they just "took it" - I guess.

This $80-million-plus, would have been sufficient to update or rebuild the oldest section of Lakewood Hospital. (Even though there was VERY GOOD NURSING going on in that B Wing - I can attest to that - in small, old, double rooms occupied as single rooms - much better nursing than received in Fairview Hospital where you sometimes had to wait 45 minutes inside the big, new, fancy-schmancy ICU to get a nurse to attend to patient's needs. And even worse in the small, old DOUBLE rooms at Fairview.)

$83 million. G. O. N. E.

How come we gave all this dough away for a mere $11 million bucks?? And a promise-in-the-clouds for an FHC that can be closed as soon as CCF decides it isn't making enough referrals to Avon.

We should have KEPT the Columbia building - and charged CCF RENT for it. Their basement rooms rent for $100 million a year - charging $12,000 per hour for each surgical room. Plus $1,000 per hour for each recovery room.
