Another crash at Madison & McKinley

About 7:20 this evening, a motorist collided with a woman on a bicycle and knocked her over, at Madison & McKinley. I heard the sound and ran to my window, simply out of curiosity, and then saw this woman sprawled on the pavement and thought "oh no."
I called 911 along with, I think, one or two people down at the scene. (It appeared that the driver of the car involved in the crash did pull right over and run back up to help.) I was relieved to hear sirens shortly. I asked one of the officers outside a bit ago, and h noted that the downed cyclist was "banged-up," but it sounds as though maybe she suffered no major injuries. Hopefully that's the case.
Meanwhile this is the second crash at this same intersection in, what, three or four weeks? I hope it's mostly coincidence, although the fact that McKinley is in some sense one long freeway ramp may play a role… I'm usually pretty cautious but maybe I should be more so, out there. Yikes.
