I was delighted to discover, earlier this week, that someone has set up a Little Free Library in our town.
I first read about this concept a few years ago —
https://littlefreelibrary.org/ — and have wanted to see one in Lakewood. As I live in an apartment I have concluded that setting up one on my own is not practical. So, I thank whoever has installed this one.
This micro library is on the west side of Elbur Ave, two houses south of Franklin. When I was there a couple of days ago, it was quite well stocked, so I hope anyone in the area will check it out.

It's not the only one in town.

There is also one on Detroit, next to the entrance of North Coast Health.
That Garfield one is AWESOME!

I saw one on Grace, this morning. West side of the street, a little ways north of Franklin iirc.
Great job, Lakewood LFL hosts.

Someone is preparing another one on Hilliard, now. As of a couple of days ago, it was not stocked yet, but a sign on the front of the library box promised that books are coming soon.

Matt Kuhns, you are most welcome. We're pleased to know your appreciation. My sons and I built Elbur's free library more than three years ago as a surprise Christmas gift for my wife and their mother. The beauty of it was that we unveiled it for her in the morning only to return to it later in the afternoon full of books. Someone had stocked it while we were busy celebrating our holiday. People now come from all over, even outside out city's borders to keep it full. A thing of beauty.

Cool; I have been by a couple of times but hadn't put together any details about that one yet.
