If anyone doubts for one minute that this lawsuit is anything more than a SLAPP suit meant to harass and hurt Jim and the Observer, and silence the criticism of the mayor and council, let me point you all to the latest filing in the case.

On Sept 23, plaintiff's attorney filed an amended complaint. On line number 93:

The plaintiff accuses a commenter of posting "inflammatory and conspiratorial statements about Mr Uldrick's former employers, the city of Lakewood and it's Mayor."

Well, well if THAT isn't an admission of what this suit is REALLY all about. It's an attempt to SHUT UP anyone who criticizes the city or the mayor. It's not about some poor butt hurt guy who thinks everything on the Internet is about him.

Let's get this out there. It's important to shine the light on this nefarious attempt to silence critics.

The mayor doesn't have the balls to do the dirty deed himself - he sends his surrogate.

It's going to backfire BIG TIME because it's going to go national soon.

Probably at our usual locations like Rozi's Wine House, etc. We will post.

This based on some work by street artist Shepard Fairey, Shepard is best known for "The Obama Hope Poster," and his "OBEY" project.

The OBEY PROJECT allows everyone to join in and help Shepard get it out. Based on Andre the Giant, the image was first used to underline oppressive government views towards street art. The project allows anyone to purchase stickers, and kits to produce "Obey" anywhere in the world, making it a very recognizable image anywhere in the world.

This one is really funny. A few lawyers sued because online comments about their frivolous lawsuits characterized the lawyers as "assclowns" and "brain-dead." They LOST and have to pay the defendants!
