First, who writes this stuff?

"But if you do need inpatient hospital care, there are multiple options within a 15-minute drive for most Lakewood residents. Working in tandem with you, first responders to a 911 call—our dedicated firefighters and EMS—make the decision that’s best for each patient." Still can't figure out what this means. Much of inpatient care is planned, after visits to primary and specialty care where a decision that a hospital stay is necessary is made.

That said, what is missing for you from this list of a painful stretching of what can be consider health care providers in Lakewood?

For us, Orthopaedic Associates. For our family, particularly when an injury required outpatient orthopedic surgery at Lakewood Hospital, having this practice in our community meant our student missed less class time for follow-up care than she would now, since Orthopaedic Associates is no longer in Lakewood.

Does anyone else have providers missing from this list?

I love the attached map of Lakewood with ALL the direction arrows pointing AWAY from and OUT OF Lakewood!

Prophetic?

15 minute drive? If you speed maybe. I had to take my son to the emergency room at fairview after school. traffic lights were out, added traffic it took me 42 minutes. 42 minutes!!!!!! did his injury require an ambulance..no. but still to sit in a car with a possible broken elbow/arm in pain for 42 minutes is uncalled for. (and the reason i don't use the lakewood er is because there is no pediatric services there....that was kicked to curb years ago)

We didn't get the new propaganda piece in the water bill this month, not sure why.

Seems like things are really slipping over there at the water dept. No information insert and no return envelope. If you want to be paid, you got to supply an envelope, HELLO!?

My guess is that people started pointing out the out right lies and fabrications so the City decided it was counterproductive.

Bill Call-- I have to point out that throughout the years your posts have gone from entertaining exaggerations to spot on accuracies. I commend you for your good work.

Cameron,

No return envelope? I have heard that City Hall is broke, but, that is pretty cheap!

Perhaps Summers and Extended Company could ask the contractors that are taking part in the alleged house stealing scheme here in Lakewood if they would like to advertise on the insert!
