Body Found by Boat Ramp

Post by Bridget Conant »

A male body was found on the grass near the restrooms next to the boat launching ramps in the Metroparks within the last hour.

Police are on the scene and have taped off the area.

A passerby saw the man and called police.

Where the body was found this morning. About 100 steps off of the bathrooms, 40' off parking lot.

As of right now, police do not think there was "foul play" involved. Time of death, reason for death and next of kin have not been notified.

From Google Maps.

How sad. Knowing how our Mayor likes to hide everything that happens here in Lakewood from the citizens, I doubt we will ever be told the truth!

Actually

Metro Parks is taking the lead on this. I did not see any Lakewood or Rocky River police cars there.

They were very forthcoming with information they had.

The woman who called police called Lakewood. First arrivals were an EMS truck, a fire truck, and 2 cruisers.

Soon after another fire truck and I think 4 more police cars.

Another example of the lackluster media in Cleveland. The PeeDee coverage is here, and it's entirely incorrect. The body was it "found on a dock at the Emerald Necklace Marina."

Where the heck do they find such bumbling reporters. Do they EVER ask questions or verify facts?

Cannot believe anything you read.
