So here is the proof that that Political Smears were orchestrated by a city hall employee on the taxpayers' dime using public computers.

The first picture is a public record of Rick Uldricks' use of a public computer while working for the city and Summers' re-election campaign. It that shows Uldricks made the post (the second photo) on the Lakewood Citizen that smeared Summers' Opponent Mike Skindell.
Note the underlined entry on the first photo matches the date and content of the second photo.
Does anyone remember Benny Bonanno?

Time for an investigation and class action lawsuit. Lakewood residents are being used!

Breaking laws, intimidation, is bad enough but when done for political reasons, guess what it becomes?

Keep in mind the city government has not yet released all of the internet usage and public computer usage of Rick Uldricks.

So there is likely much more than had been heretofore produced.

I am not an HR professional, but I have vetted many a candidate for open positions and when I heard Rick Uldrick was working in the building department, I checked on his LinkedIn profile and saw nothing that would qualify him for a position in the building department. Then I saw his application where he clearly lied about prior criminal activity. I am concerned. Does the city of Lakewood not do background checks on hires? Certainly a simple background check would have shown that he lied on his application.

So either the city doesn't do background checks on hires, which is terrifying, or the background check was ignored or not conducted for this particular hire. These scenarios demonstrate that the Summer's administration is either very incompetent or terribly corrupt.

This type of discovery is why City Hall despises the Observation Deck.

And it's exactly why their "former employee" filed a lawsuit against the Observer. To tie it up and shut it down.

You think Summers didn't know what Jay Carson was planning? Please, he was the deputy treasurer for the Build Lakewood PAC and worked closely with Summers.

Mayor Summers should be ashamed.

Just looked up the case record (CR-95-331542-B, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court) and saw the prosecutor in the Bonanno case was Steve Dever. This makes me more hopeful that truth and justice will win out in the end.

I just want to be sure anyone reading this completely understands that I was responding to Dan Alaimo's question right above my post inquiring about "who remembers Benny" with a link to an article about his being caught using city property and city time to campaign. The comment was about Benny Bonanno.
