Also, that's you, Brian Essi? It's amazing how the brain forms pictures of people it's never seen. I always imagined that you looked a lot like Jeff Van Gundy. Don't ask me why, it's just what my brain did.

That's the city Human Resources Director--Jeanne Yousefi. She might have had a long day pouring over applications to fill spots in the building department.

Thanks for the answer Brian. By the way, I have a very high opinion of you (and Jeff Van Gundy). I meant it to be poking fun at how our brains just assign a face to a person we've never seen. After I posted, it occurred to me that you might take offense at how I've imagined your appearance. Please know that it was meant in good humor. No matter what he might be thinking, Mayor Summers is the one of the few who appear fully engaged.

Almost every meeting I've seen has shown council and other city officials looking bored, checking their phones, just being completely uninterested.

That, to me, is showing CONTEMPT for the citizenry. Is that what we pay for? To be treated with disrespect and derision?

Maybe I missed something, but who paid for the repair? The city? Private insurance? Perhaps someone from City Hall could post the paperwork that goes with the repair. We all know City Hall reads the Deck quite frequently.

Yes, if she was driving a vehicle she should have insurance to cover any property damage she causes with the vehicle.

Of course, SOME former city officials didnt even have a license to drive!

I was told at the time, her insurance would cover the damages.

However there was no alcohol or drug test. As she was driving her car? Yeah but damaged city property, while on duty.

Jeff Van Gundy recently revealed something about an old case (the O.J. case) that made news.

Perhaps your comparison will prompt my brain to reveal something from a case that makes news.
