LAKEWOOD PROTESTOR OF THE WEEK!

Michael Patrick turned to me Tuesday while having coffee at the Root Cafe in Lakewood and said, "I think I will get dressed up like a hot dog, and ride a bike downtown with a sign that says, TRUMP EATS FARTS" I smiled and said, really?

Next thing I know, it is in every media outlet in the world! Nice work Michael.

Demonstration of the week, and one we should all be most proud of. Not the pro-Trump Rally, not the protestors, not Trump for 2nd Ammendment, but the largest protest in the City of Cleveland this past week was "Circle the City with Love!" 2,500+ members!



To all of of the law enforcement people involved. THANK YOU, positive, level headed, helpful, everything we have come to expect from law enforcement.

Cleveland we did it, now let's get realistic about what is next.

This was the most compelling protest.....Pierre from Maple Heights stood quietly on East 4th for Tamir Rice.


This Lakewood woman is a fan of the Observer. I encouraged her to send in an article about her issue.


This is one of the many Code Pink members in town.
They were the most witty of the protest groups, and their leader got into the convention hall on three of the four nights.


Day Four brought out lots of parody signs, a delightful change of pace from earlier in the week.
Other humourous signs included "GOD HATES SIGNS" and "IS JOE FLACCO ELITE?".


This die-hard Patriots fan is only half-kidding. He really is angry about Goodell, and he was very willing to tell everyone why.

Westboro Baptist isn't the only virulently anti-gay protest group out there. This crew had the stage Thursday evening.....some had crude t-shirts.
