Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is proud to return to Lakewood on Saturday, July 30 at 7pm with THE TEMPEST.

After a dozen years stranded on a remote island, the magician Prospero directs the spirits at his command to raise a storm and torment a passing ship that carries the treacherous brother who exiled him and took his place as the Duke of Milan. The prospect of wreaking vengeance melts away when his daughter falls in love with one of the castaway nobles. Shakespeare’s farewell to the stage, THE TEMPEST is infused with magic, music and romance, exploring the meaning of imprisonment and freedom, forgiveness and redemption, illusion and reality.

If you can't make it to see us that night, we're just down the road in Cahoon Park in Bay Village on August 5, then Lincoln Park in Tremont on the 6th and 7th. Full tour schedule and more info here.

You can see Alex Belisle's fantastic photoset from our first production this summer, Richard II, here.
