We have published the police and court stats for years. Crime is going down nationwide as well.

However the places that speak of, broadcast or monetize crime are going up, so people hear more.

The crime rate should be going down.....City Hall apparently hired at least one criminal to campaign from inside City Hall.
That's a pretty innovative way to get perps off the streets.

Yeah, I'm not really sure I did that Corey. Perhaps if the person in question is "a one hit wonder" your top 100 chart hits from 1986 might work.

However if there is a body of work there, the question then becomes how many top 100 hundred music charts can we look forward to as this plays out?

You've got my attention because nothing explains or excuses behavior quite as effectively as a list of songs.
