Lakewood Fire Honors Those Fallen In Dallas

This morning if you drove by Fire Station Oone as the sun came up. You would see a flag that is black with blue stripe flying under the American Flag. While speaking with members of the Fire Department at the practice I asked about the flag, and the response was.

"It is the 'Police Memorial Flag' and we are flying it in solidarity and recognition of our 5 fallen first responders in Dallas last night."

In a really wild week, where the matters of the world are so much more important than the day to day issues in our lives, it was nice to hear.

As I wite this, POTUS as for all public flags to be flown at half mast.

There is no excuse for violence.

Thank you to Lakewood Fire and Police.

By afternoon the flags were lowered to half mast on the order of the President of the United States.
