Another CEI story

Post by Edward Favre »

Five hours into a Niagara- Hilliard - McKinley power outage and the line crew left to go look for transformer parts. Amazing.

So they retuned with the parts and started to work around 2:00am. 10 hours after power went off. Power back on at 3:30am,. 11.5 hours. No storm, no heat wave. Good workers, but understaffed and poorly stocked. The new CEI/First Energy legacy.

"understaffed and poorly stocked"...that makes them the ideal naming partner for Browns Stadium!

If anyone is wondering about the gradual increase in working streetlights, it is because I have been reporting them to CEI. I have reported roughly 150 of them since last November. Nobody else notices them when they burn out? Come on. Does council ever go out in their wards?

Time for another crusade tonight to check the streetlights throughout the city. My camera will be ready in case I have company! :D Maybe my shadow, the parking guy, will be called in for overtime! :D
