It has come to my attention that a police report has been made by the schools regarding "hazing" that is occuring theoughout the school district.

"Hazing" is defined as:

the practice of playing unpleasant tricks on someone or forcing someone to do unpleasant things

The legal definition of "hazing" is:

As used in this section, "hazing" means doing any act or coercing another, including the victim, to do any act of initiation into any student or other organization that causes or creates a substantial risk of causing mental or physical harm to any person.

Talk to your kids.

Notice it is labelled "department information".

Did parents get a letter home about this issue? It's not exactly small potatoes.
