This may or may not be old news with the recent controversy surrounding Lakewood Center North, it is worth noting that Kowit & Passov also purchased Lakewood Center North in 2013, according to this article.

18732 Sloane is owned by a Jonathan LTD, according to county records. This is a residence. According to the Ohio Secretary of State, Jonathan LTD is owned by a Ronald Degrandis. This is a relative of Fred Degrandis, see http://www5.sos.state.oh.us/ords/f?p=10 ... UM:1088801 According to voter registratio data, a woman in her thirties lives here.

Also according to county records, LSC Service Corporation owns the residence at 1344 Manor Park. The tax mailing address goes to the main offices for the Westerly on Detroit Ave. in suite #149. It is no secret that the Westerly is run by the Cleveland Clinic and the Mike Summers clan (Curt Brosky, Tom Fraser, Bill Gaydos, Tim Laskey, and others).

This link documents the fact that Liberty Development Company is the developer behind the construction of the McKinley Place Townhomes on the west end.

This link documents that Tom Kuluris is the head honcho at Liberty Development Company. Notice his bio states that he has severed on the Lakewood Citizen's Advisory Committee. We all know that, in most cases, you don't get put on these boards without knowing someone or doing something for someone. According to voter registration data, Mr. Kuluris also lives here in Lakewood on Lake Ave. Conflict of interest?

I have a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg. What would the motivation be behind all of this, you might ask? Look at the locations of the properties, connect the dots, think about it, and it should be clear. More information may be coming later.

Also notice that Passov Real Estate is involved with the Clifton/117th development. They also have a sign outside of Starbucks on Clifton at 115th.

This article documents that the Clifton Pointe Townhomes on Sloane were developed by an Andrew Brickman. Also note that this article mentions that the first phase of these townhomes received a ten-year tax abatement.

This article documents that Andrew Brickman appears to be heavily involved with Lakewood Hospital Foundation. There is a picture of Brickman and Ken Haber standing next to each other. According to voter registration data, Brickman lives in University Circle. Why such interest in LHF?

Also, according to http://www.followthemoney.org/ , Brickman has donated a few hundred dollars each to the political campaigns of Ed Fitzgerald and Armond Budish.

I would like to point out a couple things.

Do you really believe that either Justin Campbell or Andrew Brickman* who no longer talk to each other, can buy a mayor worth more than both of them for $100? $200? $1,000?

Should we be more worried about campaign donations that are listed? OR a public official repeatedly sitting in developer lodges at sporting events, eating, drinking and carousing?

As long as official pays way into game. Remember, It is all legal, one declares every penny recieved, the other merely claims a general admission ticket, and gets thousands in perks.

Which is more intoxicating? Handing Mayor Summers a check at Around the Corner, once. Or sitting night after night through the playoffs with free drink, food, and?????

Much of what you are saying is true about the buy up, but no one has been excluded to my knowledge, unlike hospital.

I know people get tired of me saying this but read "Slaughter of Cities" Lakewood, and Cleveland comes right into focus.

I think you missed the point. The point was to show that almost all of these developers appear to be friends of Summers and CCF. While it may not be illegal, it certainly appears to come close to it. In my opinion, the whole City Hall is teeming with ethics violations. There is much more to this than meets the eye. It is time to start thinking outside of the box and looking at the big picture.

P.S. It turns out that the contribution Cindy Marx got from the big wig at Huron Consulting was legal, as I believe it was right at the $1,000 limit. I think they knew what they were doing.

I would prefer to hope you are wrong.

Ethics violations a plenty, but nothing a little sunshine can't cure.
