January 20, 2016, Summers sworn statement at his deposition:
“...we realized, as Trustees, we're way over our head, as volunteers, part-timers...

On February 11, 2016, Mr. Butler, stated
I don’t think we can ignore the fact that [City Hall] relied on the expertise of those who had spent so many years in the room trying to figure this out.

To put this in context, these people who were "way over their heads" and "in the room" had CCF help them hire a consultant--Subsidium.

Subsidium then recommended a "bid" proposal that CCF, LHA, Subisdium, Summers, Madigan and Bullock formulated then pitched to the city that became the Master Agreement. (BTW there was no "bid"--the depositions reveals the proposal was formulated before any of the sham "bidding" began)

So the bottom line is our city leaders relied on a group of people who Summers now admits were "way over" their heads and who in turn relied on a consultant who CCF help them hire to recommend CCF.

Note: This post casts Summers, et al. in the most favorable light possible given his sworn testimony. Wait there is much more that exposes a cover up....

Here is what a trustee who had to resign because of ethics violations had to say about the expertise of the trustees.

Way over their heads.

Very interesting, especially when I see this video after many things have been learned over time. Mayor Summers is " dumb like a fox ".

I believe what Summers has is a selective memory.

Casper Weinberger was convicted for that.
