Nothing against Bernie, I like his ideology, but the thought of another old white man in the white house is more than I can handle.
It's time to see what a woman can accomplish in the White House.
That said, if Bernie is the nominee, I will vote for him gladly.

Build the Military up, the best in the world, spend a week in troubled areas, not years. BUILD THE MILITARY UP, BUILD....

WERE BECOMING A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY, filthy water in Michigan, violence everywhere, some city workers, spending more time having lunch than working, out right abuse. not contributing to the best for all of us. There is a lot wrong, and it has nothing to do with eating a can of beans. It has to do with LEADERSHIP. character and integrity, I don't see it in most of the nominees running for president. Look how quickly the development ( a place for us) at Madison & West 116th st has moved along. Great, that is progress, not like what's going on at West 117th & Clifton... same old same old?

Voting for a candidate based solely on gender or religious belief or age or sexual preferences or race or "one issue" is, in my humble opinion, an insult to that candidate. What about their stance on a wide variety of issues?

I did not vote on a candidate based on her gender. But if we want real change, let's change the demographic of what we're putting in the White House.
Interestingly, Bernie only recently embraced his Jewishness in public.
Kasich is a Steeler fan, so I really should have voted for him based on your idiotic logic.
All the penises in the White House - IT'S TIME FOR A VAGINA!!!

Spoken like a true Trump fan. Definitely sounds like something that would come out of his mouth.

Should Sanders run as an independent?

I think if Sanders runs as an independent, then the party will fracture and guarantee a Trump presidency.
However, if that is what happens, then we get what we deserve.

He should and would not.
There is some chance that the a faction of the GOP Establishment would run a third party candidate (like the Dems did in Illiniois in 1986, when the LaRouchies grabbed the official Dem nomination).
However, the most likely scenario is a very ugly one-on-one Trump vs. Clinton matchup.
Hillary's motto will be "You don't like me or trust me, but at least I'm not a fascist"
