Well, this past Friday the tip-line rang with a call about a "car that has plowed into Szechwan Garden."

Upon arrival, it was bad, especially as Szechwan Garden was closed for over 6 months, but it was not end of the world.

It took them 6 months to get rid of the cockroach problem, wonder how long this will take to fix . . .

Boy, those fascade bricks can't take much abuse!

The brick under the window fared much better. Maybe they are real bricks?

probably reinforced by roaches. The situation was DIRE. Just check on-line and find out. To think that it took them almost a year (it was longer than 6 months) to rectify and reopen is astounding. We will NEVER eat there again.

Would also be the reason that we don't go to Luchita's any more. Had a roach army run across OUR PLATES at the bar. When we told the manager, she laughed and said, "Every restaurant has roaches"!!

I've been in the Food and Beverage industry for 40 years. In that time, I have never worked in a place that has roaches. So, for someone in the biz to assume that roaches are industry standard, I say bullshit.

Hi Amy, from what i have been told the owners of the garden decided just to redo everything once they where closed. It was something they had been wanting to do.

If you read the health inspection reports on-line, they speak for themselves. If they wanted to redo everything, then why did they leave those God awful vertical blinds in the front windows?

Ewww!

Maybe it was only anti-freeze?

Maybe it's time for a cash mob? They must be hurting, lets give them a lift, do you have a phone number for delivery?
