Around 8:30pm last night Metro Parks closed down south of Hogsback Lane for over an hour. Reason, distraught male threatening to jump from Lorain Bridge.

The Bridges over the canyon make them magnets for the distraught. (photos courtesy of the Rockport Observer)

You can see the man threatening to jump on the sidewalk talking with police.

The [police talking to the man for over an hour.

Suddenly the man turned to the police and walked over, and into the waiting ambulance.

All is well, that ends well. Good work Fairview Park and Cleveland Police and Fire.
Park reopened around 10pm.
If you know someone having a tough time, give them a call, talk to them. If you think they maybe suicidal, let someone else know.
It doesn't always end this well.
