Accident Around The Corner Closes Detroit For Short Time

Around 9:45pm Saturday night the police were called to the Security Hut for a car that had climbed the curb, hit the medium, up into the planters and had it's airbags deployed, which would indicate a speed in excess of 30mph.
Ambulances were asked for as the driver seemed "out of it."
I have to think missing a turn and finding your self 3' in the air with air bags in your face would make you appear out of it.
Detroit was reopened to traffic in one direction by 10:15.
Nothing to see move along.
