So LHA Chairman, Tom Gable ordered an appraisal with an EXTRAORDINARY ASSUMPTION the document says.
The intended use of the appraisal was to "assist the client in the sale of the property to the Cleveland Clinic."

The EXTRAORDINARY assumption helped the appraiser find a value that was 1/2 what the property was worth under normal circumstances without that assumption.


In other words, a CCF trustee who has signed CCF's Code of Conduct to be loyal only to CCF--(not LHA and not Lakewood)--that is Tom Gable controlled the engagement and decided what information he wanted to give the appraiser.

The appraiser went to the east side of Cuyahoga county to find "comparable" properties subject to the EXTRAORDINARY ASSUMPTION.

The appraisal references documents that the appraiser was not given, i.e. they were withheld by Gable.

Please note that the City of Lakewood did not order its own appraisal.

So when Mr. Gable got up in front of City Council on December 21, 2015 as said the Master Agreement was LHA's idea not CCF's, was he being truthful?

Mr. Gable is a stranger to the truth.

Lakewood has been...... I'll served.

Oh, I forgot to add that this document--the "appraisal"--was asked for by me in a public records request back in early December, 2015.

Kevin Butler produced it on Tuesday of this week--December 5th--to me---the day after Dr. Terry Kilroy and I separately told City Council that if they wanted to help the City "heal" they should produce the basis for their decisions made behind closed doors. Nearly a month after the law required that it be disclosed per my request, they coughed it up.

So to my critics, is this what you say is 'bullying"?

Is Terry Kilroy a bully too?

Just curious: given the power of the Clinic in the Cleveland area and the capitulation of city council, how likely do you think it is for the FTC to rule in favor of the residents of Lakewood?

With the 7-0 vote in favor of the Master Agreement, is it likely that regulators will take that into consideration when ruling?

Also, I find it funny that the vote was 7-0 on an issue that lost by less than 5 points. I would at least expect a 4-3 or 5-2 vote in favor of the master agreement.
