When you realized Lakewood Hospital should be replaced?

I feel it is safe to say that the preponderance of Lakewood citizens have at some time once held the belief that Lakewood Hospital should remain operating as an inpatient facility for as long as at least they live in our fair city. But over time, however, many of us have come to the realization that our wish is unattainable.

In the spirit of the LO project, I would like to offer a safe thread where those who would like to share why they support the vision for healthcare delivery in Lakewood that was endorsed unanimously on Dec. 21 by our City Council.

Again, this thread is for those who support this vision and would like a safe thread where they can share their view. If this thread succeeds at gaining new participants who are normally passive, those who are actively opposing the vision of the majority can maybe learn or gain a new, broader understanding of the matter.

So I ask, when did you realize Lakewood Hospital should be replaced?

Jim, I have a heck of an idea.
I know how menacing uncontrolled thought can be, so why don't we create a separate forum for this thread.
" A safe place" forum. Where you can marvel at the new vision for health care delivery in Lakewood and have a good laugh at those fools in Avon, whose new vision for health care is, well, not Lakewood's.

Jim,

I think a better question would be": "When did you realize that the Cleveland Clinic, Lakewood Hospital Association, Mayor Summers and City Council have all failed in their respective missions to work for the people of Lakewood?"
